Has Google lost its mind?

So this happened...

WHY IS IT SO HARD TO KEEP UP WITH AI ANNOUNCEMENTS??!! 😡😤🤬

Ok, Omar, breathe. **gasps** let’s start again….

Introducing, Gemini 3 by Google

At this point, I need to go to the hardware store and buy a shovel to start creating more space in my head to store all these AI news announcements.

This week alone, Eleven Labs announced Image and Video Generation, Manus threw a death blow to the browser wars with a simple Browser Extension that turns any browser into an AI browser, and then I wake up to Sundar having a tap dance on Cursor’s grave with Gemini 3 and Antigravity!

But see, I immediately get the “ick” when I open Twitter/X and see a new post every 2 or 3 days in the tone of “it’s really over”, “they just killed every other AI tool” ra ra ra…

I like to take a beat, and go exploring for myself.

This time, however, I recorded my reaction in real-time as I opened the mystery box of today, Gemini 3.

You’ll see me try my hand at a few different ideas.

  1. I had a go at building a “Bottle Flip Game” to really test the appeal of Gemini 3’s game-making abilities which people are raving about.

  2. I tried to clone a website by typing in a URL with a simple prompt “I want you to analyze https://shots.so/ and then build a beautiful tool that emulates its functionality”

  3. I built a tool that allows me to upload a video of my performance in the gym, then provides a highly detailed analysis of my form with guidance, tips and a rating. INSANE!

The real test, thought, is to find out if Gemini 3 is good enough to replace my current way of building with AI or is it just another “tool” that gets you kind-of there but not really…

By the end of the video you’ll see exactly how I feel about Gemini 3…

Have you played around with Gemini 3 or Antigravity today?

Share your thoughts with me on e-mail, would love to hear from you!

Happy building 🚀

Omar
